Our Story

Date Your Spouse began back in 2011, founded by a group of married women who believed that intentional, creative dating was the secret to keeping the spark alive long after “I do.” What started as a small blog swapping date ideas grew into one of the most-loved marriage resources on the web, with thousands of dates, games, printables, and advice articles — every one of them tried and tested in our own marriages before it ever reached you.

More than a decade and 65,000+ couples later, we’ve grown up right alongside the marriages we serve. In 2026, after 15 years as The Dating Divas, we stepped into a new chapter and became Date Your Spouse — a name that puts our whole mission in three words. If there’s one idea at the center of everything we make, it’s this: you should never stop dating your spouse, even after you’re married.

We began this little venture of dating our spouses just like everyone else — way back before we ever said “I do,” back when dates were the most important part of our week. That focus on dating is what helped us fall madly in love with the men we now call our husbands. Since then, many of us have had children, finished school, and started careers, and embarked on what we now know as the married life. And we’ve learned that marriage can quietly become too comfortable. Dating your spouse the way you did when you first fell in love is the surest way to keep that spark burning.
