Sexy Escape Room FAQ

How long is the escape room?

The game varies between 1 – 2 hours

Will I know everything if I set it up?

Nope! We have the answers to each puzzle in an online form that can only be accessed by QR codes given at each checkpoint.

Are there hints? What if I can’t figure it out?!

No stress! We have 2-3 different hints for each room that can guide you to the answer if you are super stuck.

How long does it take to prep the game?

About 30 minutes.

Do I have to move from room to room in our house?

It’s optional! We recommend moving from room to room to make it more fun but you can do it all in one space if your house doesn’t lend itself to moving from room to room.

How long do I have access to the digital file?

We suggest downloading as soon as you receive it and then it is yours forever! If you lose your download, contact our customer service for help at [email protected]!

Is this going to be fun?

Oh yeah!!

  1. I’m hoping someone that has done this can see this and help.
I am trying to prepare for the Sexy Escape Room for Two.
The instructions say to collect materials along the way to use at the end.
How do we know what materials to collect? I don’t think the clues say what to collect.

    1. HI! Here’s the complete list:
      -Perfume/cologne
      -A roll of toilet paper
      -A cup of ice
-Soft lighting (tea lights, candles, string lights, etc)
-A device for playing music (Bluetooth speaker, ipod dock, etc)
      -A comfy blanket
      -Lotion or massage oil

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

  2. We had fun playing this Escape Room for our anniversary! I was worried that it would be too easy but felt like the level of challenge was just right. We spent about 90 minutes working through everything. Two tips that would have helped us: 1. Print in color. One of the clues is hard to figure out in black and white. 2. There is a hint QR code in the pdf if you get stuck. We forgot about that, so when one of the clues stumped us, we had to cheat a little to keep going. Overall, we felt like this was pretty good value considering that in person Escape Rooms are usually at least $25 a person.

    1. We are so glad you guys enjoyed it!! And really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Happy Anniversary!

    2. We did the date last night and it went very well. It took us about 1.5 hours. I like that it had the QR codes, so I was able to set up the date without knowing the answers. The puzzles we not too easy but also not too hard, so we are able to work through them reasonably. Doing the task before opening each envelope was a good part of the date also.

        1. I would love to buy this but the link brings me to the shop not this item amd when I search I cant find it. Please help! I would love to set this date up ASAP : )

          1. Hi Nicole! This product has been removed from the store while we rework a few things and, unfortunately, I don’t have an ETA for it being back. However, if you want to email [email protected] we can put you on a list to be notified if/when we put it back.

  3. Would someone who has tried this date night like to share what they thought? t sounds fun (and I know the content has to be concealed until after purchase), but it’s hard to decide about purchasing without knowing a little more about what the puzzles are like.

    1. Played this with my wife over the weekend for our anniversary. We’re pretty experienced with escape rooms, and spent probably 30-40 minutes working through all the puzzles.

Preparing the game: I did all the prep work, and it’s a fair bit of cutting. Color printer highly recommended, some of the puzzles would be difficult to complete without color.

(suggestion: if there was a Cricut template for cutting things out, that could have saved a bunch of time, especially room 126)

The puzzles: There are 7 puzzles of varying difficulty. The easiest ones we had a pretty good idea from the beginning exactly what we’d need to do, but that doesn’t make the process not-fun. We never felt super stumped, and the provided clues steer you in the general direction. It’s not like you want to lose the game after all!

One thing that I wasn’t 100% clear on… Were we supposed to do the “task” to access the next room, or if it was just to see the clues under the flap? We played it as we had to do each task as we started the room. Not really a complaint, I’m just not sure if that was the intent or not.

All in all I’m satisfied with it, and I’d be interested in more games like this.
